At 1:30am on August 28 a single car accident called out Engine 2 and Engine 1 to the area of 1791 Washington St in the Highlands. The car left the road and rolled over into the back yard of a residence on Arbutus Ave and came to rest in a playground area of a day care center. The 17 year old male occupant self-extricated himself and was attended to by E-2 crew while E-1 crew checked the car for any remaining victims. None were found. The back yard playground area was contaminated with transmission fluid, broken glass and various car parts. The driver was transported to Boston Medical Center by Fallon Ambulance.
